A grandiose term for a simple requirement -- finding the best source material for a given recording. This may involve locating the best pressing of a commercial disc, an off-air recording of a broadcast or the master material for record or radio programme. Supporting documentation and bonus material are frequently needed for reissues, such as the Goon Show Compendium. We also hold several private tape collections and a large number of discs, both 78rpm and LP.
